I support the amendment by the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture and Livestock because what this amendment is doing is just renumbering the clauses. In addition, it says that you cannot export or import without a valid licence from the board. It is giving the board the power to make sure that anybody who will be exporting or importing sugar has a valid licence. This is because people might obtain licences that are not from the board. People may go to the Cabinet Secretary or somebody else to try and get a licence. You must get it from the board."
