    "content": " Hon. Senators, even as I commit this Petition to the relevant Committee, there is an Act. It is now a law on ECD which was passed by this House and assented to by the President. It is Sen. (Dr.) Zani’s Bill. So, as the committee looks at this, maybe they can work in liaison with that law so that we see which areas have been left out and what needs to be added or amended. Pursuant to Standing Order No.232(1), the Petition is committed to the relevant Standing Committee for its consideration. In this case, I direct that the Petition be committed to the Standing Committee on Labour and Social Welfare. In terms of Standing Order No.232(2), the Committee is required in not more than 60 calendar days from the time of reading the prayer to respond to the petitioner by way of a report addressed to the petitioner and laid on the Table of the Senate. I thank you."
