    "content": "Issues of the pastoralist region have not been addressed properly in this country. We have just had insecurity in Laikipia and now we have insecurity in Marsabit. The Petition has been in this House for one-and-half years. Why is insecurity in Central Kenya and other places addressed very fast, but when it comes to the security of the 80 per cent of the land mass of this country, it is not addressed adequately and with efficiency? It is shameful because some of those who do not want issues of insecurity in pastoralist regions to be addressed are Members of the pastoralist community. It begs the question of whether they are really genuine to their people. We need to discuss this matter. I support the amendment."
