(1) All sugar millers and importers shall ensure that all sugar produced locally or imported into the country meets— (a) Safety and quality standards as set by the body for the time being responsible for setting standards; I thought KEBS and all the other agencies would be included there. This clause is going to cover all those issues. There is also the issue of safety, health standards, food handlers and so on. Clause 26 (1) (a), (b) and (c) will cover the issues that you wanted to go to KEBS, that is, the area of standards. The Committee sorted out that issue and it should remain as it is. Thank you, Hon.
