"content": "been set aside and in a way, we have lost the right that we already had and which exists in the current Constitution. It is important for us to regain what we have lost, especially for the people whose trust land has been mentioned by name. There are quite a number of areas which have been covered in the Trust Land Chapter V111 of the current Constitution that, really, we cannot afford to lose that particular pride. It was very important for you to be there and when people were discussing this current Constitution at the time of Independence they decided that we needed protection. Protection has always been there. If we go with the Proposed Constitution the way it is, certainly we will lose all those gains. If we lose those gains, then our people will be left hanging without anywhere to turn to. The trust land which is protected in our current Constitution will be left in the hands of the high and mighty, and Kenyans who deserve that land will not have any right."
