Speaker, the National Water Policy, 2021, was tabled in the House on 8th June 2021, and the Speaker committed it to the Departmental Committee on Environment and Natural Resources for review and report to the House pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No.127(1). The Paper aims at building on the achievements of the water sector reforms over the years and moving it to the next level of development in order to contribute to the national goals and realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)."
