    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I beg to second the Motion. The National Water Policy, 2021, was tabled in the House on 8th June, 2021. This Policy Document was committed to the Departmental Committee on Environment and Natural Resources to review and report to the House, pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No.127(1). The Sessional Paper aims at building on the achievements of the water sector reforms over the years and moving it to the next level of development in order to contribute to the national goals and realisation of SDGs. When the Committee was dealing with this, we looked at all the challenges that the sector has gone through, including the current challenges that the sector is facing in the northern region. This will be a very important policy document that will address the current challenges that people are facing in any part of this country, including what is being faced in my own constituency of Ijara."
