    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I support the Motion on adoption of Sessional Paper No.1 of 2021 on the National Water Policy. Water plays an integral role in the development of any nation. Water is a social and economic good which is critical for a country to realise its development agenda. This Sessional Paper will enable both levels of government, namely, the national Government and the county governments, to prepare their policies and strategies to effectively and efficiently deliver on their respective mandates as far as water service delivery is concerned. Our Constitution guarantees every Kenyan a right to clean water, a healthy environment and a reasonable standard of sanitation.
