"content": "With those few avenues opened, we will increase competition in the market, both locally and in South Africa, Botswana and other areas where the airlines will be connecting to. We will also have route connectivity. You realise that for a long time, there have been a lot of restrictions on the number of routes that you could travel to. Once this air service Agreement comes into force, it will open other destinations that one can travel to. That will lead to what we call ‘improved quality of life.’ The moment you have more businesses, you will have more access to travel, and that means people’s income is bound to increase. We will also have opened up new opportunities in the academic field, which means that our students will move to South Africa and Botswana more easily. We will have enhanced tourism. Kenya is a good tourist destination. I am sure we will have an influx of tourists from the countries. This Agreement resonates well with our Constitution and satisfies the requirements of the Treaty Making and Ratification Act. With those remarks, I beg to second."
