    "content": "It is against this background that the Member is seeking for a statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security to address the following matters: (i) How long does it take to process a national identity card once an application has been made? (ii) Could the Chairperson give an explanation as to why it is taking long to process the national identity cards thereby denying eligible persons the opportunity to register as voters?
