    "content": "THAT, the Bill be amended by inserting the following new clause immediately after New Clause 24E — Vacancy. 24F. Where the office of any member becomes vacant, whether by death or otherwise, the Chief Justice may appoint another person to be a member of the Tribunal for the remainder of the term of the member whose vacancy cause the appointment. If you look at Clause 24 as drafted, it says, where the office of any member becomes vacant, whether by death or otherwise, the Chief Justice will appoint a person to serve for the remainder of the term. What we are basically saying is that, that is an error. It should not be like that. That person should serve his or her new term. Basically, we are deleting “the remainder of the term”."
