Members, it is worth noting that in the letter dated 20th May 2021 submitting the Joint Memorandum to the Clerk, the Cabinet Secretary for Health is on record that the the Ministry had reviewed the Health Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2021 in consultations with stakeholders in the Health Sector. He added that the Ministry had reached a consensus with a majority of the stakeholders on regulatory councils/boards as contained in the Joint Memorandum."
