I wish to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Defence the following Question: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary for Defence explain why the Kenya Defence Forces officers based at Ras Kiamboni KDF Military Camp sprayed pastoralists herding animals with bullets in Ras Kiamboni area, Fafi Constituency, on Sunday, 17th October, 2021, instantly killing over 40 herds of cattle? (ii) What action has the Ministry taken against the officers who took this action that also led to the killing of Mr. Arab Maulid Jirow of ID No. 35122734 from Fafi Constituency, leaving behind an expectant widow in addition to losing all his livestock to the gunshots?
