Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 7 of the Bill be amended in the proposed new clause 59 by deleting subsection (2) and substituting therefor the following new subsection – (2) Any person who before the coming into force of this Act was in digital credit business and is not regulated under any other law, shall apply for a license in accordance with section 33S, within six months of publication of the regulations under subsection (1). This amendment provides for a transitional clause for registration of digital credit providers within six months so that they have time within which to come into regulation."
