Cherargei can be given an opportunity to take the Floor and defend the decision that the Committee took to travel to Seattle when he was the Chairperson. I have never been to Seattle and I want the people of Nyamira to know that I did not go to Seattle to look for a manifest which can be found in Ethiopia. As a Senior Counsel, I have a name and reputation to protect. All I did was to attend to the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Foreign Affairs. Let the record be very clear that the trip to Seattle was made by my predecessor, the former Chairperson of the Committee. He is in the House. I would like to make a request that you give him the Floor so that he can explain to the House why he went to Seattle. I do not want to carry that burden."
