    "content": "(h) Under the current economic constraints, which has led to the freezing of salary increments for all Government employees, it would be immoral to subject the little salary that the teachers earn to finance programs which may never be of financial benefit in the long run. To add to this, teachers have not been spared by the current economic hardship occasioned by skyrocketing fuel prices, the effects of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID- 19) pandemic and the general inflation brought about by the soaring prices they have to shoulder. Madam Deputy Speaker, having said all the above, I conclude by appealing to you to task the relevant Committee of this House with the responsibility of weighing in"
