    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I apologize. Anybody who is suffering from a condition that is life long, not curable, causes pain, discomfort and makes them to behave in a manner that is not in tandem with a normal person, qualifies to be called a person who is suffering from some disability. That is the medical condition that afflicts people suffering from sickle cell. These are people who to be maintained in certain lifestyle in society, they need to be affirmed to compete with people in certain clusters of employment. Therefore, I fully support the Statement that has been sought by the Sen. Nyamunga. Let us replace these class of people in the list of people recognized as to persons with disability so that the society can affirm them and treat them with some favorable condition than the way we treat some of us who are blessed to live a normal lifestyle. I support the Statement by Sen. Nyamunga. I thank her for bringing this matter to the attention of the Senate."
