    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise to request a Statement on the Sharing of Mining Energy and Petroleum Resources between County and National Government. Pursuant to Standing Order No. 48(1), I rise to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations on the failure of National Government to operationalize various Acts to ensure that counties and host communities benefit from the proceeds emanating from mining energy and petroleum resources. In the Statement, the Committee should- 1) Explain whether Section 58(2) of the Petroleum Act, 2019 has ever been factored when allocating revenue to the relevant host counties. 2) Table regulations regarding the operationalization of Section 58 of the Petroleum Act, 2019. 3) State and table evidence, if any, showing payment schedules of royalties paid out to counties and host communities as stipulated under Section 85(3) of the Energy Act, 2019. 4) List counties that have so far received royalties as stipulated under Section 183(5) of the Mining Act, 2016."
