I rise to ask Question No.447/2021 directed to Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works: (i) Does the Ministry have any plans to re-classify Mungatsi- Muyanga-Kimaeti- Lwakhakha Road (C32) which passes through a number of constituencies including Teso North Constituency and to upgrade it to bitumen standards? (ii) Out of the total funds allocated towards construction of the said road, how much has been disbursed and utilised to date considering the contractor is yet to commence any works? (iii) What steps is the Ministry taking to ensure that construction of the said road commences and is completed on time? Thank you, Hon. Speaker."
