"content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, thank you for giving me the opportunity to support this Motion. In the first instance, I would like to congratulate this House. I am on record as saying that we do as we sincerely believe we do in the supremacy of this institution. It behooves us to be able to speak with one voice. When occasion provides itself, we debate and disagree on the Floor of the House. But a time comes when we have to really, as far as is practicable, speak with one voice. I think this is one such time. Mr. Speaker, Sir, in my own little right I happen to be a constitutional lawyer. I know that it is never easy to write a Constitution. We have been at it as a country for close to two decades. We will be able to provide positive change and work for positive change; it is this opportunity and that happens to be clearly before us, as the 10th Parliament. I am forever optimistic. I know that this time round we will hopefully give this country a new constitution."
