A key submission was that the Bill ought to be amended to include all nuts and crops and not just make provision for the coconut and the coconut industry. Thereafter, the Committee had a meeting on 20th September, 2021. The committee noted that the proposed amendment of the Bill would change it significantly from the one that had been published."
