I had the privilege of presenting this Petition on behalf of Nahashon Agano, the other 16 petitioners and the entire populace that lives in Maseno Before I say anything, Mr. Speaker Sir, this is to your attention. This Petition was presented in this House early October, 2020. Our Standing Orders, to be precise, Standing Order No 232(2) states very clearly that once a Petition has been presented to this House, the Speaker will assign a committee to handle it and within 60 calendar days they must report to the House. Sixty days is two months. Ideally, if we were to follow that, then they should have reported to this House by December, 2020. The Petition report was signed on 22nd October, 2021, which was exactly one year 20 days form the day I presented the Petition to this House."
