This is a Statements relating to the activities of the Standing Committee of Education Pursuant to Standing Order 51 (1) (b) for the period from July to November 2021- I rise pursuant to standing order 51(1)(b) to make a Statement on the activities of the Standing Committee on Education for the period commencing July to November, 2021. During the period under review, the Committee held a total of 45 sittings, considered 11 Statements, considered two petitions and tabled the reports. During consideration of one of the two Petitions on the delayed payment to suppliers of commodities to public secondary schools during the first term of the academic year 2020, the Committee observed that, there is limited public access to the information of the goods or services procured by the Ministry of Education, the contract"
