Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, clause 25 of the Bill be amended— (a) by renumbering the existing provision as subclause (1); (b) in sub clause (1) by inserting the words “and with the consent of the parent or legal guardian of the minor” and (c) by inserting the following new sub clause immediately after sub clause (1); — (2) A person who contravenes the provisions of this section commits an offence and shall, upon conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five million shillings or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years, or to both."
