Deputy Speaker, I rise to ask Question No.480/2021 directed to the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on the progress of construction of ‘Ex- Jacob Dam’ in Kirimingai area of Ol Jorok Constituency in Nyandarua County? (ii) What measures has the Ministry put in place to ensure that the residents continue receiving water during the ongoing construction period? (iii)What is the expected completion date of the dam? The Question is supposed to be directed to the Departmental Committee on Agriculture and not the Departmental Committee on Environment and Natural Resources."
