"content": "care. So, the urgent release of these funds will be beneficial to both men and women, especially women and children. In addition, Kshs6.4 billion from the World Bank will be used to support national agriculture and rural inclusive growth project. With the challenges we are facing with climate change, this will be very significant, especially for rural communities. Kshs7.8 billion will be dedicated to climate smart agriculture project. This is also very significant, as I had said, especially in terms of climate change that is affecting agricultural productivity and for us, a country that relies on rainfall agriculture. This is very significant especially for agriculture that is climate smart and takes into account the climate change. Kshs5 billion is for water and sanitation development. This is a very significant thing for women, especially in rural areas where access to water is a challenge. Women walk several kilometers daily to access water; so, the sooner we unlock the release of these funds, the better for our women especially in rural areas. In conclusion, I just want to indicate that it is coincidental that we are doing this when we have just saved the gender commission. So, I am very happy this afternoon. I wish to also thank the Members who earlier today supported my Bill. With those few remarks, I do second."
