    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, as things stand currently, public participation is more of a Public Relations (PR) exercise than what it is actually supposed to be. Real public participation must also include sensitization of the people on the matter for which they are undertaking public participation so that they know the achievement that their son or daughter has been recognized and awarded for at the national level which may not be relevant to their situation. Their son or daughter could have gone out there and conquered at the national level thus automatically bringing fame and county. Public participation must be put in its rightful place so that people are not just told to vote for this or that. People should be sensitized and made to understand what they are carrying our public participation for. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I beg to submit."
