I rise to ask Question No. 449/2021 to the Cabinet Secretary for Health: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain the whereabouts of an infant who had been abandoned, later rescued on 5th October 2021 in Ongata Rongai area, Kajiado County, and taken to the Nairobi Women’s Hospital, Ongata Rongai Branch in the same town for medical treatment but later reported missing from the hospital a few days thereafter? (ii) What measures does the ministry have to ensure that medical institutions and facilities are able to account for unidentified persons who are taken in for treatment?"
