    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me a chance to contribute to this Bill. Let me take my colleagues, as Hon. Bunyasi has done, on a historic journey. At Independence, there was fear, antagonism and uncertainty of whether people of a certain race would remain in Kenya or not. During part of the negotiations for Independence, those who did not want to remain in Kenya and had served the Crown for many years were allowed to relocate from Kenya and that goes with their pension.
