    "content": "Hon. Millie Odhiambo’s definition in the main Bill defines an egg as a live human egg, but does not include the process of fertilisation. In the statement of the problem, there is nothing like an egg in the process of fertilisation; it is a new human being. As we know, in Article 26(2) of our Constitution that we uphold, life begins at conception and a fertilisation of a sperm and an egg has united. The unification is what we know as conception, whether it is In-vitro Fertilisation (IVF) or normal conception. In my proposed amendment, an egg means a live human ovum."
