It does not matter whether there is one tranche or one and half tranches, but the quantum of funds that are transmitted to respective constituencies, the total is Kshs500 million. I think it may be appropriate at this stage to be able to appraise the House how this figure is arrived at. Usually it is the constituency secondary schools students’ enrolment over the national secondary school student’s enrolment times the constituency poverty index over the national poverty index. That then gives you the total sum of money available for each respective constituency."
