Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, clause 12 of the Bill be amended— (a) in sub-clause (1) by deleting the words “to a” appearing immediately after the word “secretary” and substituting therefor the words “and chief executive officer of the”; (b) in the opening statement of sub-clause (2) by deleting the words “A secretary” and substituting therefor the words “The chief executive officer”. We are trying to establish the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tribunal to be in charge of the management of the day-to-day running of the Tribunal. I thank you, Hon.
