    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me an opportunity to add my voice to the Kenya Research and Development Institute Bill. We have some of the best institutions in this country. Unfortunately, they are not being utilised as required. For instance, other than KIRDI, we have other institutions like Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI). All those institutions combined have been put in place to ensure that research takes place in various sectors, so that Kenya can be able to realise development.
