    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me the opportunity to add my voice to the Kenya Roads (Amendment) Bill. The proposed Bill increases the term of office from three years to five years, which is renewable once. This period will allow the Director-General to effectively complete their strategic plans and projects. The Kenya Roads Act qualifications for the Director-General are being changed to allow more professionalism in that position.
