As we proceed on recess, it is my hope that you will use the available opportunity to meet with constituents, spend some time with your families and friends and rest in preparation for the coming year, 2022. I hasten to state that the COVID-19 global pandemic has continued to persist with the latest variant Omicron. It is, therefore, paramount that we all continue to keep safe while adhering to all protocols put in place in order to minimise spread and risk of infection."
