    "content": "An advertisement calling for applications for a nominee by the Senate to the Equalization Fund Advisory Board was published in the Daily Nation and The Standard newspapers of Wednesday 3rd November, 2021 and the Kenya Gazette No.224. The applications were to be received on or before Wednesday, 17th November, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. (East African Time). At the close of the application period, a total of 37 applications were received. The Committee collected the applications and established that two applicants had submitted their applications twice (via email and by hand delivery)."
