    "content": "Mr. Temporary Chairperson, Sir, I beg to move- THAT, Clause 8 of the Bill be amended – (a) in paragraph (a) by deleting the proposed new subsection (1) and substituting therefor the following new subsection – (1) If the Commissioner or director is not satisfied that an apex society, co- operative union or primary society, as the case may be, has not complied with this Act and is of the opinion that steps may be taken to comply with this Act, the Commissioner may provisionally register the society or union for a period not exceeding one year on such terms and conditions as the Commissioner may specify in writing. (b) in paragraph (b) by deleting the words ―county executive committee member‖ appearing immediately after the words ―Commissioner or the‖ in the proposed new subsection (2) and substituting therefor the word ―director‖; (c) in paragraph (c) by – (i) deleting the words ―county executive committee member‖ appearing immediately after the words ―Commissioner or the‖ in the proposed new subsection (4) and substituting therefor the word ―director‖;"
