    "content": "Hon. Members, there is a Communication from the Chair on a Tree Planting Event to Boost Forest Cover on Friday, 3rd December 2021. Hon. Members, I wish to notify the House that the Speaker of the National Assembly has been invited to grace a tree-planting event dubbed the National Tree Planting, to be held tomorrow, Friday, 3rd December 2021. The event is organised by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the Kenya Forest Service, the County Government of Kajiado, the leadership of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the local community, among others. The event is in support of the national agenda of achieving and maintaining 10 per cent forest cover by the end of 2022. In this regard, the Speaker of the National Assembly has agreed to grace the said national tree-planting event tomorrow, Friday, 3rd December 2021 adjacent to Upper Matasia Primary School within Kahara Area of Upper Matasia near Ngong Hills, from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. Given the critical role of this House in the management of forest resources and as part of our corporate social responsibility, I, hereby, invite the entire membership of the House to this noble event."
