"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, there is a worrying trend of trigger-happy policemen killing innocent Kenyans. Apart from Alfred Sululu and the young Kiprono Chumba, we remember the case of Dr. James Muiruri who was shot by an officer who was off duty and yet he had a gun. We remember the case of Jordan Odhiambo, the United States International University (USIU) student who was shot by a trigger-happy policeman. The truth of the matter is that the officers responsible are protected by fellow officers. To date, young Kiprono Chumbaâs killers have not been brought to book. What has the Assistant Minister done to ensure that these officers are prosecuted?"
