Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 3 of the Bill be amended in paragraph (a) by deleting the expression “for the financial year 2021/2022” appearing after the word “allocations”. This amendment is to prevent double allocation of resources to county governments as these funds are already provided for in the FY 2021/2022 through the County Allocation of Revenue Act, 2021. The Bill provides for a framework for disbursement of additional resources from the National Government’s equitable share to county governments."
