    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Indeed, as Hon. Wanga has stated, we have been trying to address the issue of the 247 employees that were laid down. One week ago, the Member for Mvita raised the same issue and we, again, raised it with the National Treasury. We do not understand why such a simple matter is taking that long. I want to congratulate the Member for Mvita because he has been consistent in following up on this matter. We have had petitions, Questions and Statements that Members forget about and we kind of sit on them but on this one, he has been consistent. It is high time you give a ruling and allow us, for the period that we will be on recess, to have a joint sitting with the Departmental Committee on Finance and The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
