Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 27 of the Bill be amended by─ (a) renumbering the existing provision as sub clause (1); (b) deleting paragraph (b); (c) inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after the renumbered sub clause (1) ─ “(2) The Corporation Secretary shall be responsible to the Director General. This has been a very thorny issue. That is what my colleague was saying. It is the issue of the corporation secretary reporting directly to the Board but functionally to the Director General.
