    "content": "Hon. Deputy Speaker, I am grateful to my colleagues for the very cordial interaction we had with the President yesterday, as he delivered his Eighth Speech to the House. I must thank my colleagues for enduring two hours and 15 minutes listening to a 249-page document that was delivered by His Excellency the President. I must also thank him for taking his time because most anchors in our national television stations normally sit down. But he endured, made it good and stood throughout as he read his Speech. This is something to applaud him for and thank God because it was successful. The message to the country was very clear and in black and white. The President’s Speech covered a wide range of issues which he has delivered to us to date. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
