I beg to move: THAT, Clause 15 of the Bill be further amended by deleting the words “and subject to a court order” and substituting thereof the words “and subject to an order of the High Court”. The import of this is that, on reading the Act, it says that where a person is suspected or accused of an offence under this Act: (a) The person’s home or their property may be searched; (b) The person’s possessions may be seized; The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
