    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me the opportunity to second this Motion. As my colleague has said, it is necessary to adjourn the House so as to give us time to go and acquaint ourselves with the Constitution. I emphasize the point because we must not allow ourselves to be sidetracked by the media who might be thinking that we are going there to mutilate the Draft Constitution. During debate on the Presidential Address, we all confirmed our willingness and desire to seize this historical opportunity to pass a Constitution that Kenya has been attempting to do for over two decades. I have no doubt in my mind that once we have acquainted ourselves with it, unless hon. Members generally feel by consensus that they have issues they want to deal with, I have no doubt we will bring back the same document and pass it in this House. With those remarks I beg to second."
