    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I stand to oppose the proposal by Hon. Kimani Ichung’wah and to put it very clear for the record that he has been very economical with the truth in explaining this matter. Unless, he is reading another Bill, it is very clear in Clause 14(a) of the Bill that I am holding and the one before this House, that it is the political party that would deem whether you have resigned or not and the political party shall notify the Registrar to take action. So, when he comes here to say that it is the Registrar of Political Parties who will deem you, he is trying to get the emotions of these people to show that they would be removed by the Registrar of Political Parties when the Bill is very clear. That is unfortunate. You are being untruthful to this House on a matter that is on public record. I, therefore, ask Members to reject this thing without further debate so that people do not come here to be economical with truth so that they can sway Members to a certain direction."
