    "content": " Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended by deleting Clause 19. The reason is that section 31(3) of the Act provides that the Auditor-General shall audit accounts of political parties. This is in view of the fact that political parties receive taxpayers’ money. The clause seeks to amend that section, which is not right. Political parties should be audited by the Auditor-General, especially in cases where they receive taxpayers’ money. I beg to move."
