Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 22 of the Bill be amended – (a) in the proposed new section 38C by inserting the following new sub clause immediately after sub clause (5) – “(6) Notwithstanding the provisions of sub section (5), a person may only participate in the nominations of a coalition political party if such person is registered member of a party forming the coalition political party”; (b) in the proposed new section 38E (1) by deleting the words “more than seven” and substituting therefor the words “less than ten”."
