"content": "I know that the central issue may not be life; it might be money and that we can settle in my office. Mr. Speaker, Sir, let not this debate derail into other things since it is a special sitting. Probably since we are working on the basis that there are doubts whether or not we are going to comply with the Constitution and the Standing Orders, maybe you should make it clear at this stage that the Bill stands committed to the Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs and Human Rights. Senators can continue to comment, but if it comes from the Speaker that indeed we are going to comply with the Standing Orders, the Constitution and decorum will be observed, then probably Members will talk less or if they talk, they do so with the knowledge that nobody is going to short-change anybody. Sen. Wamatangi, you know I have acted on your behalf before. If you want to give me instructions, I can advise you on how to go about it."
