    "content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No. 76, seeking the indulgence of the House to make a Personal Statement on a news item titled: “Kosgey says she was denied visa over the Ndung’u Report.” This was carried in today’s editionof The Standard Newspaper. The misleading statement is purported to have been said by myself during my contribution to the Presidential Speech yesterday. I wish to set the record straight. I did not say that I have been denied a visa over the Ndung’u Report or for any other reason. The HANSARD recording of yesterday’s House proceedings will bear me witness and I quote:- “Most of us are constantly put in a position where we feel that we need to explain ourselves because we do not know what is in the Ndung’u Report. Did he interview the person he has accused of this and that? I have tried at some point in the past to apply for a visa and I was told that I am in the Ndung’u Report for having been given land in Athi River which I never got. Somebody else got the title and sold the land.” Mr. Speaker, Sir, as you can see, I did not say that I have been denied a visa.
